That’s totally understandable – “Bruce Willis” really hasn’t had an easy life as a cat.
Wait, “Bruce Willis”? Who names their cat “Bruce Willis”?
The stray got its name from the animal shelter – presumably because it was battered in the same way as action star Bruce Willis after a marathon of all the “Die Hard” films.
The weird name isn’t the worst thing that happened to the animal?
Honestly not: the poor tomcat probably had to make his own way through life for years and suffered numerous scars and injuries in the process. Eventually he ended up at the animal shelter – where no one was interested in the “ugly” and “damaged” animal.
People really have the wrong priorities
However. But the poor cat was ignored for so long that the shelter tried to adopt him via the internet. There he was accidentally discovered by a person – who absolutely did not want to have a pet.
But …?
But the American Sandra just couldn’t tear herself away from the photo of the sad animal. She certainly didn’t want a cat. Your landlord didn’t allow pets anyway. And yet she couldn’t tear herself away from the picture. Intuitively she felt a connection that would not let her rest. Finally she visited “Bruce Willis” without obligation at the animal shelter.
And took him with you right away?
No. According to her own statements, Sandra could only stand the animal for a few minutes – it broke her heart too much to see the sad cat without being able to help him. But from that day on she visited “Bruce Willis” regularly at the shelter.
How tragic – strict landlords are really tough with something like that
In this case, however, a small miracle happened: After countless inquiries, Sandra’s landlord relented – and allowed her a one-time special pet permit. The very next day, according to Sandra, “the saddest cat in the world” moved in with her – and within a few hours became the happiest cat.
All’s well that ends well?
In this case, yes: Sandra and Bruce are inseparable, and the stunted, malnourished animal from before is hardly recognizable. In the video you can see for yourself what a difference a safe home and above all lots of love made in his life.
