Last October, the Chinese brand launched its first Happy Dogs pack dedicated to dogs and cats with, on the program, a Smart Pet Food Feeder automatic kibble dispenser and a Smart Pet Fountain water fountain.

Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain: continuous healthy water
It is not always easy to maintain a sufficiently filled, clean and fresh water bowl throughout the day. However, these are essential criteria to encourage dogs and cats to drink regularly and preserve their health.
Xiaomi has therefore designed a connected fountain, responsible for providing continuous good quality water to your pets. This device can hold up to 2 liters of water and filters it in four stages to remove fine particles, hair, residual chlorine, as well as calcium and magnesium ions, the latter of which can cause kidney stones.
Depending on your preferences, the water can circulate intermittently, at a regular frequency, or continuously. In any case, the system knows how to be discreet and silent, including at night, since it does not exceed 30 dB. To do this, the manufacturer has raised the pump, which limits the water noise induced.
A little extra: the Smart Pet Fountain is compatible with the Xiaomi Home app, which sends notifications when the water level is too low and it’s time to clean the device or change the filter.
Xiaomi Smart Pet Food Feeder: programmed and remotely controllable meals
Some pets eat only one meal a day at a fixed time, others divide their daily ration into several portions. Being at home at these key times is not always easy, not to mention that some dogs and cats ask for food during the night, forcing you to get up.

The device is suitable for kibble of various sizes (5 to 12 mm) and alerts you with an LED and via the Xiaomi Home app when the tray needs to be filled. The Smart Pet Food Feeder has a capacity of 3.6 litres, or an average of 1.8 kg of kibble. Such a quantity can feed a small dog or cat for more than 15 days.
It is therefore essential that the quality of the food does not deteriorate over time. To do this, the Smart Pet Food Feeder is responsible for keeping the kibble dry and preserving its freshness thanks to:
