Also good to know

The streaming platform promises that this will make more anime dubbings available in the future.

Wakanim and Funimation will probably only bring new episodes to ongoing series on their platforms – all brand new title From now on they will only appear on Crunchyroll.

As a welcome gift, Wakanim and Funimation subscribers will receive a 60-day free Crunchyroll Premium Membership. However, what the merger could mean for future pricing policy remains unclear for the time being.

Without much competition, Crunchyroll could raise the prices anyway. However, nothing is known about this from the official side. So for now, the only thing left to be happy about is that anime fans no longer have to subscribe to two or more streaming services at once.
