Anime: one of the best series of the decade will soon disappear from Prime Video


The first two seasons of the Japanese anime “Attack on Titan” will leave the catalog of the Amazon Prime Video platform on May 2.

The Japanese animated series, taken from the manga phenomenon by Hajime Isayama (34 volumes available from the publisher Pika) will leave the catalog of the Amazon Prime Video platform this Monday, May 2. A departure which is accompanied by that of another flagship series: Tokyo Ghoul.

Broadcasting since 2012, The attack of the Titans follows the story of humanity’s last bastion, entrenched behind walls to escape cannibal colossi. Among them, Eren Jäger, a young recruit from the Exploration Battalion, determined to eradicate these monsters from the surface of the globe. Lauded as much for its jaw-dropping action scenes as it is for the depth of its storyline, the series boasts some of the highest-rated episodes of all time on IMDB.

Nowadays, The attack of the Titans totals 87 episodes, divided into four seasons; Proposed in France in similcast broadcast on the specialized platforms Crunchryoll and Wakanim, the series will end at the end of the third part of its season 4, expected for the course of next year.
