The chapters in her life couldn’t be more different: Anja Zeidler (28) once lived for her muscles, sweated every day in the gym and even had a chicken sponsor. Today the vegan does sport mainly to balance her life as a mom to little Jela (1) and an entrepreneur.
In a «picture» documentary, she talks about her former fitness lifestyle. On so-called cheat days, she was more or less allowed to eat what she wanted – but that didn’t match her desire for the perfect muscle body. “Most of the time, these cheat days have degenerated. I had binge eating, ”says the Lucerne woman. “That means: if I ate something else, I couldn’t stop eating.” Sometimes she drove to the gym at night to work off the calories. Today she concludes: “Mentally something was not quite okay.”
Motivated to do so by others
For Zeidler, the strict fitness training and nutrition plans were no longer enough. That’s why she finally resorted to anabolic steroids. “I was told by coaches and fellow trainers: ‘Everyone does it like that. Don’t worry about that! ›»
At first she paid close attention to the quality of the illegal funds. At some point, however, she didn’t even care. “You didn’t know what else was mixed in there.”
Only a friend could wake her up. “She was frightened from my much deeper voice. My complexion was horrible. Somehow she saw that my body is not healthy. Plus I was also very aggressive. ” Zeidler could get extremely upset about the smallest things. Still, it needed someone else’s tip. “I’m not stupid. I noticed that too, but then you just suppress it. You look the other way and don’t want to admit it. ” You constantly lie to yourself.
Spared from dire consequences
Eventually she managed to get out of the illegal means. Today the influencer says: “I’m so grateful that I’m sitting here today and still living, that I’m healthy and that I can have a baby.”
She also warns that the wrong image is often conveyed on the Internet: “As a normal person, it will be difficult to look like a fitness influencer. You notice that at least when you try it the natural way. ” (bnr)
