After a few months of waiting, Temporis 2 on Dofus Retro is finally revealed. The World of Twelve goes into the Multiverse and transforms into “Parchomancia”, a magical universe inspired by rough-and-tumble role-playing games.
Role-playing comes to Temporis Retro with Parchomancia
At least, that’s what we imagine. Ankama today unveils the trailer and the first real images of Temporis Retro 2. The latter does not seem to be numbered elsewhere, or even to be linked to a deity, preferring a title instead; “ParchoMancia – The Tower of Challenges”. The theme seems quite clear and finally logical after the few very subjective teasing videos. The Dofus Retro team is heading in the direction of old-fashioned Role Playing.
Inevitably, in MMORPG, there is RPG or “Role-playing game”. However, we are focusing here rather on the “paper” or “table” version, with a group of players and the famous Game Master. We will recognize in the videos the various members of the development team, in particular Dusk or Logan who will be present in Ankama Live on Thursday March 30.
However, gameplay level, nothing is really specified. Note that 4 characters are particularly highlighted in the illustrations. In the past, it was often about teasing means, as was the case during Temporis 5 or 7. We will have to wait a little longer before knowing if other plans are in the cards. A limitation to 4 playable classes, for example, could be envisaged in order to better tighten up on specific roles of the RPG.
As for the main attraction, the “Tower of Challenges”, it is impossible to really determine what will take place there. We can thus imagine a resumption of the Challenges of Iop of the previous editions. It will undoubtedly and more simply be a more “iconic” place within reach, like Ecaflip City.
