“Bauer sucht Frau” star Anna Heiser commemorates her child, who she lost in a miscarriage, with an emotional Instagram post.

In the 13th season of “Bauer sucht Frau”, farmer Gerald found his Anna Heiser, 31, in 2017. A year later they said yes and in early 2021 their son Leon was born. Since then, the small family has been enjoying their happiness in their adopted home of Namibia. But her family planning began with a severe blow of fate. In January 2020, Anna suffered a miscarriage. A tragic loss that still hurts her to this day.

The 31-year-old will share an emotional post in memory of her deceased child on her Instagram account on October 15, 2021, the “Day of the Star Children”.

Anna Heiser: “The pain is still there”

“I have retired to the office to write these lines and am fighting the tears right now. The lump in my throat is getting bigger,” she begins her heartbreaking post. And continues: “It has been exactly 1 year, 9 months and 8 days since my miscarriage and the pain is still there. Losing a child means endless sadness for most.” They are words that get under your skin.

She considers herself lucky that she is now the mother of a healthy son, but that doesn’t save the pain. “I am very lucky to be able to hold a healthy son in my arms – my rainbow child, but I will always miss our asterisk. And it can! Time does not heal all wounds, you learn to do it with loss live, “says Anna.

She advocates removing taboos

In her tribute, Anna Heiser also draws attention to the fact that star children, infants who die during pregnancy or shortly after birth, are unfortunately not uncommon. But miscarriages are still a taboo subject. “Many carry this grief within themselves, but very few speak about it. By making miscarriages taboo, one has the feeling of being alone with it. But we are not! Almost every sixth pregnancy ends with a miscarriage,” she explains.

Finally, she addresses all people who have suffered such a loss. With these lines she encourages them: “Today I want to tell you that you can mourn. That you can be angry and disappointed. But above all I want to tell you that you are not alone.”
