Anna Hofbauer and Marc Barthel secretly married in a small group at the end of last year. The celebration should follow in summer.
Ex- "Bachelorette" and musical star Anna Hofbauer (32) and actor and singer Marc Barthel (31, "Notruf Hafenkante") got married on December 26th in the smallest circle at a registry office in Allgäu. They announced this in an interview with the magazine "Bunte". "The moment we saw each other for the first time that day, pure romance," she enthuses.
Her mother played an important role in the actual wedding ceremony. "As a registrar, my mom gave a wonderful speech and celebrated the wedding. Only the formal part had to be taken care of by a colleague for legal reasons," says Hofbauer. Afterwards, a singer sang the couple's song. "It was just perfect."
Application to the Elbphilharmonie
Barthel made the wedding proposal last summer in Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie. "Marc had rented a suite with a view over the harbor on the 18th floor and lured me there on the pretext of a costume rehearsal," reveals Hofbauer. She couldn't get out of the amazement, then he went down on his knees in front of her and asked if she wanted to be his wife. She wanted. Due to the corona, they had to postpone the wedding again and again. "We'll catch up with the large church wedding with dancing and partying in the summer," says husband Barthel.
Anna Hofbauer became known in 2014 as the second "Bachelorette" in the TV show of the same name. In early 2018 she confirmed her relationship with Marc Barthel. Their son Leo was born in November 2019.
