Anna-Maria Ferchichi (41) would not have had eight children without her husband Bushido (44). She revealed this in an Instagram story. She also gave insights into her sometimes complicated marriage – and revealed that she often misses her sisters, friends and herself in her new adopted home of Dubai.

Had no thought of further offspring

“I can say 100 percent: No, I would not have had another child without him,” wrote Anna-Maria Ferchichi in an Instagram story to a follower question. After her eldest son Montry (21), she never thought of having more offspring. After that she was even married. “Sounds completely crazy, but it’s like that…” She told her around 690,000 followers: “I’ll tell you, your life can take a pretty strange turn.”

“Extremely distressing”

Her marriage to Bushido also apparently went through such a turn. Because when asked if she was happy or if she was missing something in her life, she gave an insight into her relationship in a longer text. “Our marriage and everything around it was extremely stressful. Death of Anis of both parents, at home, from illness.” In addition, “tax office, house searches, environment” and four children in three years. “I think I was too shocked to understand it all.” She was focused on her children and “distant and isolated” from almost everything else. Because she couldn’t bear to lie to friends and family.

But then they would have changed their lives. “It didn’t all happen overnight and it took us years. But we managed to turn something that was very broken into something wonderful.” The couple learned through bad times. “I’m grateful for this time, it made us grow up.” The extended family emigrated to Dubai last year, and shortly thereafter Bushido surprised his wife with another application.

Now she is the mother of eight “wonderful children” and there is simply no room for other people. She often misses that. “I miss my sisters and my girlfriends. Sometimes I look at my children and I know they’ll get wings in a few years. I just hope that I haven’t forgotten how to be Anna-Maria. I miss them sometimes.”

Married eleven years

The sister of singer Sarah Connor (43) has been married to rapper Bushido since 2012. The couple have seven children together, and they recently lost another child to a miscarriage. Ferchichi’s eldest son, Montry, was born in June 2002 to dancer Pravit Anantapongse. From 2005 to 2009 she was married to former Finnish soccer player Pekka Lagerblom (40), then she was in a relationship with soccer player Mesut Özil (34) for a year and a half.
