Dannielynn Birkhead has chosen an extraordinary outfit. Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter wore a Janet Jackson look.
A special outfit for a special evening: On Friday evening (May 6), Dannielynn Birkhead (15) and her father Larry Birkhead (49) attended the “Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby” gala in Louisville, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith (1967-2007) chose a very special look for this. The 15-year-old grabbed an outfit that singer Janet Jackson (55) wore at this event in 2003.

The outfit consisted of a black pantsuit, a tie and a white shirt. The wide belt emphasized the narrow waist of the 15-year-old. She had tied her blond hair in a ponytail and, like Jackson, her peaked cap rounded off the look. When it came to makeup, Birkhead opted for smokey eyes and pink lipstick.
Dannielynn Birkhead even had the honor of meeting her idol that night. “Dannielynn met Janet Jackson at the Barnstable Brown Gala while wearing Janet’s outfit, which she wore to the same party in 2003,” wrote father Larry Birkhead proudly to a photo on Instagram, in which he smiles at the camera with Jackson and his daughter. “Janet was so lovely and complimented Dannielynn on her outfit.” The singer made his daughter very happy.

But not only Janet Jackson paid tribute to Birkhead with her choice of look. Her parents Larry Birkhead and Anna Nicole Smith met at the 2003 Gala. Just four years later, the model died of a drug overdose at the age of 39, daughter Dannielynn was only five months old at the time. Every year the father-daughter team attends the Kentucky Derby.
