Annapurna Interactive unveils Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth

Ridley Scott’s cyberpunk universe returns to the world of video games thanks to Annapurna in Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth. The studio show was an opportunity to see some nice surprises such as the arrival of stray on Xbox or the release date for COCOON And Thirty Suitors. But it must be said that we did not expect that. No release date yet, a simple synopsis, and nothing more.

Set between the events of the original film and blade runner 2049, the conclusion is simple. What mission remains for a Blade Runner when there is no longer a single Replicant to hunt? Immersed in the heart of an area called “the land of the dead”, exploration seems the key in this game. However, we could not learn more, the trailer remaining quite elusive for the moment. So don’t expect to see the title land any time soon, or to have any news before next year.

There is no indication whether the history of Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth will be related to that of the movies, or even canon in the universe. However, the narrative aspect seems well put forward in this title. We can therefore expect an investigation game that will lead us to discover some secrets still well buried on the Replicants and this dystopian world.
