Iconic show of M6, Top chef has become a reference among professional chefs. Launched for the first time on the air in 2010, this weekly meeting was at the time in competition with another culinary program broadcast on TF1. In fact, the first channel had launched MasterChef the same year. The concept of this show was similar to that of Top chef : the selected candidates competed in different culinary tests. However, the competition of TF1 was reserved for amateur cooks. The participants were therefore people who had never worked in a catering profession. At the end of the show, the winner received a check for 100,000 euros, but also six months of training in a major cooking school, as well as the publication of a book of their own recipes. CAP cuisine student, Anne Alassane, who was already the mother of six children in 2010, won the first season of MasterChef on TF1.

Anne Alassane then transformed her grandparents’ farm in Montauban. Thanks to her earnings, the mother, aged 33 at the time, turned it into a farm inn. His triumph in MasterChef had occurred only a few months after the disappearances of Rose and Louise. Respectively aged 4 and 2, his two daughters died during the fire in their house. This terrible ordeal, however, did not prevent Anne Alassane from giving birth to other children. The first winner of MasterChef also officially announced that she had given birth to her 9th child, Friday October 6, 2023 on Instagram. “Well, I think it’s time to introduce you to little Ismael, now that he’s doing well. A sweet baby, little brother, uncle and youngest member of our big family. Thank you to everyone who was there for me , for us, we love you, and thank you to all the HME teams for taking such good care of him”, she wrote. Anne Alassane also posted a photo of a baby, who has Down syndrome, as she revealed to France Sunday, on September 15, 2023.
