Anne-Claire Coudray was invited on the set of Buzz-TV Monday July 4, 2023. The journalist discussed several subjects, in particular the news marked by the social tensions felt everywhere in France, but also the special edition which she will present, on July 14, 2023, alongside her colleague, Gilles Bouleau . As every year, the President of the Republic will attend the military parade, accompanied by a large part of the government. But for now, the Élysée has not yet announced whether Emmanuel Macron will take the time to give an interview to journalists from TF1 and France Television. For her part, when the question was put to her, Anne-Claire Coudray answered with a big smile, “obviously be available if you need her“to interview the Head of State. “I had the chance to do it last year, I would very much like to do it, because interviewing a President of the Republic, including in the news which has gained a little bit of intensity, obviously that does not happen. don’t refuse. We’ll know at the last moment, but I think I’m not the only one who wants to go back.”, she detailed at first. She then confided that talking to Emmanuel Macron, “was a very complex exercise”.
“You don’t interview him like anyone else”
“You do not interview him like anyone else since he has a function which is the presidency of the Republic”then explained Anne-Claire Coudray, ensuring “that she is one of the people who thinks it makes a difference”. “We do not address the president, as we address someone else. But that does not prevent me from asking the real questions”, however, guaranteed the TF1 journalist. Anne-Claire Coudray also entrusted “thatEmmanuel Macron is complicated to manage in the time it takes to respond”explaining that “time management is complicated, because the president likes to give demonstrations, which can sometimes be very long”. “We also have this clock, because we don’t want to sacrifice an essential theme, because we will have taken too long before, so we are always forced to fight during the interview on this question- there”, also shared the colleague of Gilles Bouleau. Nevertheless, she acknowledged that the husband of Brigitte Macron, “was very open to very direct questions”. “I never said to myself that it was complicated to interview him, except in this management of the progress of the interview”she concluded.
