Actress Anne Heche (1969-2022) died two years ago in a car accident in which she drove her car into a residential building. Now, according to media reports, the building in Mar Vista, California, a district of Los Angeles, has been renovated and is on the market for 1.35 million dollars (around 1.26 million euros).

Anne Heche died six days after the accident
On August 5, 2022, Anne Heche drove her car into the house in Mar Vista under circumstances that are not completely clear, which, like the vehicle, caught fire at the time. Six days after the serious accident in Los Angeles, the actress died as a result.
She is said to have been trapped in the wrecked car for at least 45 minutes after the impact, US network NBC later reported citing documents and radio messages from the fire department. Due to heavy smoke and fire, it was not possible to see or gain access to the car unhindered. According to the report, emergency services needed at least 20 minutes to gain access to the vehicle so that it could then be pulled out of the burning house with a tow truck. That took at least 20 more minutes. Only then were the firefighters able to free Heche and paramedics get to her.
Authorities officially classified the incident as an accident. The forensic medicine listed the cause of death as smoke inhalation and burns. A fracture of the sternum as a result of blunt trauma was also diagnosed.
Anne Heche was known from films such as “Six Days, Seven Nights”, “Volcano” and “Donnie Brasco”, among others. She was buried at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
