It was her friend Nancy Davis who announced the sad news on her Instagram account. “Heaven has a new angel. My loving, kind, fun, endearing and beautiful friend has gone to heaven”, she wrote in the caption of several photos of her with Anne Heche. She went on to pay him a magnificent tribute: “I will miss her terribly and I will cherish all the beautiful memories we shared. Anne has always been the kindest and most caring person who has always brought out the best in me. (…) My heart is broken”.
On August 5, the Donnie Brasco actress was the victim of a terrible road accident while driving her car in Los Angeles. After crashing into the garage of an apartment complex, Anne Heche crashed into a house again and her car caught fire. “She has a significant lung injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns requiring surgery. She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident”, announced his agent in the columns of People. After the opening of an investigation by the police, a blood test was requested and traces of cocaine were found. If her relatives had no hope, they decided to keep her alive to donate her organs.

“As a result of her accident, Anne suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition. She is not expected to survive. It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she is being kept on life support to determine if any are viable.”, said one of the representatives of the actress in a press release. His family added: “Anne had a big heart and touched everyone she met with her generous spirit. More than her extraordinary talent, she saw spreading kindness and joy as her life’s work. – especially moving the needle for the acceptance of who you love. She will be remembered for her courageous honesty and she will be sorely missed for her light.”
