Arthur Germain, the son of Anne Hidalgo revealed that he did not vote for his mother in the first round. The son of the mayor of Paris has thus unveiled the candidate who obtained his vote in the first round.
Tuesday, April 26, Anne Hidalgo’s sonArthurwas the guest of Apolline de Malesherbes on the set of RMC. The young swimmer confided in his political affinities, and confided that he did not give his vote to the PS during the first round of the presidential elections: “I did not vote for my mother”did he declare.
Arthur Germain went on to say that he voted for France Insoumise: “I voted for Jean-Luc Mélenchon. Not out of strong conviction, in fact”, he continued. If he claimed not to really support Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the young man said he was seduced by some of his proposals : “It’s not because I thought what he was saying was particularly brilliant, but his idea of creating a Sixth Republic, I thought it could be a way for people to ask themselves questions about the system as a whole”he explained.

However when Apolline de Malherbes asked Arthur Germain if he would also have voted for Jean-Luc Mélenchon for the second round, the sportsman expressed his disappointment with the candidate of France Insoumise : “I was quite disappointed by what he said following the first round, that he lined up in a somewhat insidious way behind Emmanuel Macron. I find that a real shame because he had the idea of a new system. It could have made you think”lamented the son of Anne Hidalgo.
Shortly before the first round of the elections, Arthur Germain had expressed his commitment to the environment on the set of Jordan de Luxe, and had already said that he would not vote for Anne Hidalgo: “I don’t recognize myself in current politics. Getting involved as I do today is my way of getting involved politically. I try to lead people to another way of life, healthier and simpler”he confided.
