Pop singer Annemarie Eilfeld’s baby is here! The former “DSDS” candidate has now announced this.

Annemarie Eilfeld (32) and Tim Sandt became parents for the first time. That’s what the former “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” candidate did the “Bild” newspaper reveal. The little boy saw the light of day in the Leipzig University Clinic on Monday morning. “Our son is perfectly healthy, beautiful and a real angel,” enthuses the new mother. She also revealed the name: Elian should be her son’s name.

“Tim and I are incredibly proud”

The little family is doing well. “Tim and I are incredibly proud and overjoyed, somehow we just can’t stop crying for love and happiness,” says the singer. Eilfeld and Sandt have been a couple for around five years and recently got engaged. The two have that at the end of June announced via Instagram. Together they were in front of the camera for “Das Sommerhaus der Stars”.

In May, Eifeld announced the gender of her baby at a gender reveal party. The fact that the singer got pregnant naturally is not a matter of course, like her the “Bild” newspaper previously explained. The reason: she suffers from a hormonal imbalance. “My chances […] stood at 25 percent according to my gynaecologists. That really took the wind out of our sails and frustrated me personally.”
