What ? A seventh mountainous stage of 127.1 kilometers. Three passes classified in the first category are listed: the Petit Ballon (9.3 km at 8.1%), the Col de Platzerwasel (7.1 km at 8.3%) and finally the Grand Ballon (13.5 km at 6.7%), the summit of which is located less than eight kilometers from the finish.
Where ? In Alsace, the runners will link Sélestat (Bas-Rhin) to Markstein Fellering (Haut-Rhin), crossing the finish line for the first time at kilometer 73 before completing the final loop via the top of the Grand Ballon, highest point of the Vosges massif.
When ? The actual start was given at 1:40 p.m., and the finish should be judged between 5:15 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
