Belgian singer and actress Annie Cordy is dead. She died in France at the age of 92.
Belgian singer and actress Annie Cordy has died at the age of 92. "Our thoughts are with her family", it's called from Disney. Cordy could be heard in the French version of "Pocahontas". Belgian Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès (45) remembered on twitter of the artist's "humor and zest for life" and added that Annie Cordy had won the hearts of many generations, "we will miss her very much".
Annie Cordy, who was born in Brussels in 1928, has starred in numerous films since the early 1950s, including "The Cat" (1971) and "The End is Only at the End" (2014). Before starting her film career, she performed as a singer. Most recently she was seen in the TV movie "Illettré" in 2018.
