“Sat.1-Frühstücksfernsehen” presenter Alina Merkau will go on maternity leave on Friday, with Annika Lau and Karen Heinrichs taking over.
Alina Merkau (35) is saying goodbye to maternity leave – in return, viewers of “Sat.1 breakfast television” can look forward to Annika Lau (42) and Karen Heinrichs (47) on the show. Merkau, who is expecting her second child, says goodbye on June 4th during her temporary break from moderation.
Lau is already looking forward to her temporary early riser job at the side of Matthias Killing (41). “It’s a bit like coming home,” said the wife of actor Frederick Lau (31). She moderated the show between 2006 and 2007 and between 2010 and 2013. Heinrichs has been part of the current team of moderators since 2007.
