Spam calls can be extremely annoying. Especially when the callers just won’t let up and simply engage in telephone terror. This is currently also the case if the number +49 176 8885 4786 or +49 176 8885 4896 appears on your display. If you answer, no one answers and the person on the other end of the line hangs up. If you call back, you will hear an automatic announcement claiming that it is an O2 hotline.
Of course that’s not true. A look at the tellows portal confirms our suspicions. To escape the telephone terror, you should block the number. If someone does answer on the other end, don’t give out any personal information, just hang up or, best of all, don’t answer at all.
Most likely, the spam call is an autodialer or something similar. Which would explain why no one is coming forward. To take action against this type of harassment, you can write down the number and give it to the consumer advice center.
