another esteemed gamer outcast coming soon to PC

The Latin American branch of PlayStation has released the trailer for a new PC port in advance. This is a pretty well-rated PS5 launch exclusive featuring one of the manufacturer’s mascots.

No respite for PlayStation’s PC strategy with the announcement of a new port.

The PC still gets a PlayStation exclusive

From October 27, 2022, PC players will be able to get their hands on Sackboy: A Big Adventure. A PS4/PS5 platformer, released at the launch of the PlayStation 5, featuring the Little Big Planet mascot.

Developed by Sumo Digital (LittleBigPlanet 3) and not the original creators of Media Molecule (Dreams), this new adventure has been relatively well received. Although the Metacritic press rating is not the highest ever (79), users have been more generous with an average of 8.6/10.

Go solo in a totally epic and danger-filled race against time, or form a team of up to four adventurers to overcome challenges, each more perilous than the next. Will you be able to save Patchwork World from the villainous Vex and his fearsome Tournebouleur and become the legendary chain knight?

This PC version of Sackboy: A Big Adventure will have the usual improvements. We will therefore find 4K at 120fps and support for ultra-wide 21: 9 screens. But also Nvidia DLSS compatibility as well as VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). A technology integrated into televisions and PC screens to avoid the phenomenon of tearing (tearing of the image).

A few days before, PC gamers will enjoy another PlayStation production: Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. A compilation that includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
