Indeed, poorly practiced, hair removal by pulsed light could have serious consequences to which many are exposed without really realizing it. This practice – alternative to laser – is a permanent hair removal technique consisting of sending a concentrated beam of light whose heat destroys the hair bulb and thus avoid regrowth. Better supervision required
Unable to once again be able to reserve this practice for the medical sector, the National Agency for Health Security (ANSES) calls for more supervision.
