Ronaldo gets into trouble with an obscene gesture

The opposing fans start chanting “Messi,” a provocation against Cristiano Ronaldo. He loses his nerve at his Saudi club Al-Nassr’s game – and in turn provokes people with a supposedly obscene gesture. He’s in for a lot of trouble.
Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has angered Saudi fans with an obscene gesture. The incident occurred after Ronaldo’s club Al-Nassr beat Al-Shabab 3-2 (1-1) in the Saudi Pro League on Sunday evening.
Video footage on social media shows the 39-year-old putting his left hand to his ear after the final whistle and then moving his right back and forth in front of his lower body several times. According to Saudi media, the incident is being investigated by the association. “Everything has its limits, no matter how famous you are. That’s how it is in the big leagues,” wrote TV presenter Waleed Al Farraj. “The disciplinary committee is facing its biggest test. We will wait and see.”
The action appeared to be directed against Al-Shabab supporters. He was apparently provoked by “Messi” chants. Lionel Messi is Ronaldo’s long-time rival, particularly for individual achievement awards.
Captain Ronaldo put his team in the lead with his 28th goal in the 29th competitive game of the season with a penalty kick (21st). His Portuguese compatriot Talisca (46th/86th) secured the second-placed team’s 17th win in the 21st game.
It wasn’t the first time Ronaldo attracted negative attention during his time in the Persian Gulf. He recently put an Al-Hilal fan scarf into his pants on the way to the dressing room and threw it away shortly afterwards as he headed towards the tunnel after Al-Nassr’s 2-0 defeat in the final of the Riyadh Season Cup went. Last April, after a loss to the same club, he grabbed his genitals after the game.
