In the title Quantumania, there is first the scientific term “Quantum”. A word that we will translate as “quantum” and which obviously refers to what is at the heart of the new Marvel feature film: the Quantum Kingdom.
What will our heroes discover in this place unlike any other, a vast and mysterious subatomic world in which Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) were once prisoners? Strange new creatures, a society in crisis, and a ruthless master of time whose menacing shadow is just beginning to spread.
The Quantum Realm is an extraordinary, abundant world, rich in a thousand and one surprises. In short, a visual madness at all times. Normal then that the term “Mania”, synonymous with madness, comes to join “Quantum” to form Quantumania and thus deliver the promise that this Quantum Kingdom is a crazy universe, truly out of the ordinary.
The most observant will have finally noticed that the name of the superhero embodied by Paul Rudd is hidden in the title Quantumania. Yes, yes, take a good look!
