Ant-Man Quantumania: what does the title of the new Marvel mean?

While the Marvel feature film “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” has just been released in theaters, we are looking at its title. What does it mean?

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has just hit theaters, officially kicking off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A feature film full of surprises, with an astonishingly long title. But what does the latter mean?

In the title Quantumania, there is first the scientific term “Quantum”. A word that we will translate as “quantum” and which obviously refers to what is at the heart of the new Marvel feature film: the Quantum Kingdom.

What will our heroes discover in this place unlike any other, a vast and mysterious subatomic world in which Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) were once prisoners? Strange new creatures, a society in crisis, and a ruthless master of time whose menacing shadow is just beginning to spread.

The Quantum Realm is an extraordinary, abundant world, rich in a thousand and one surprises. In short, a visual madness at all times. Normal then that the term “Mania”, synonymous with madness, comes to join “Quantum” to form Quantumania and thus deliver the promise that this Quantum Kingdom is a crazy universe, truly out of the ordinary.

The most observant will have finally noticed that the name of the superhero embodied by Paul Rudd is hidden in the title Quantumania. Yes, yes, take a good look!
