In Bern, around 1,000 people took to the streets in an unauthorized demonstration against fascism, capitalism and sexism.
The police were on site with a contingent.
There were no major riots at the end of the rally.
There hasn’t been an anti-fascist walk since 2015. On Saturday evening the movement went through the streets of Bern again. Starting at the station, the train headed towards Bundesplatz, which was closed due to the “Rende-vous Bundesplatz” light show. From there it went on to Breitenrain, where, according to the Bern canton police, there were stone throwing and attacks against the police, as well as spraying.
The rally broke up around 10 p.m. and the demonstrators withdrew, police said. There were no major riots at the end of the demonstration.

According to media reports, anonymous activists had said in advance that the left-wing autonomous rallies should become more accessible, open and diverse. In fact, there tended to be more people on Saturday than before. Including hooded and unhooded people.
