MADRID, January 3 (Reuters) – Investment fund Antin Infrastructure Partners plans to put Spanish fiber network operator Lyntia up for sale in mid-January, Spanish newspaper Expansion reported on Monday, citing unidentified market sources. .

Lyntia could be valued up to four billion euros, adds the daily, specifying that Cellnex and American Tower are among the potential buyers.

Solicited by Reuters, Antin and American Tower did not respond to a request for comment. A Cellnex spokesperson declined to comment.

Telecom infrastructure assets are attracting strong investor interest as part of the deployment of 5G technology.
