Antonio Banderas: Hollywood star makes corona disease public

Hollywood star Antonio Banderas has to celebrate his 60th birthday in quarantine. As he himself announced, he has Covid-19.

Actor Antonio Banderas (60, "Desperado") has Covid-19. The Hollywood star announced this on his 60th birthday via Instagram. According to the circumstances, he is doing fine.

"I would like to announce that today, August 10th, I am forced to celebrate my 60th birthday in quarantine after testing positive for the Covid-19 disease caused by the coronavirus," writes Banderas to a black White photo from his childhood.

A little "tired"

He is doing "relatively well". He is just a little "more tired than usual". But he is confident that he will recover quickly, said Banderas. "I will use the isolation to read, write, rest and continue to make plans to give meaning to my 60 years, which I have become full of lust and enthusiasm," the Hollywood star continues.

In early 2017, Banderas suffered a heart attack while exercising, as he later said publicly. This means that Banderas, who received three stents, belongs to a group with an increased risk.
