Antonio Rüdiger donated 420 lunches for intensive care staff. For him the clinic employees are "honorary women and men of honor".

The German soccer star and DFB kicker Antonio Rüdiger (27) thanked the nursing staff in hospitals with a small but fine action. As reported by the sports portal Spox, among others, he had employees of Covid 19 intensive care units in 13 clinics supplied with pizzas. Among other things, he gave gifts to hospitals in Stuttgart and Berlin. A total of 420 employees enjoyed lunch.

"Above all, I want to say thank you with this campaign", quoted Spox and the partner portal Goal, quoting the current professional at Chelsea. It is tragic how the situations in the corona intensive care units have come to a head again in recent weeks. "The people who work there are doing an incredible job," said Rüdiger. For him these are "all women and men of honor".
