AnTuTu presents the top 10 most powerful Android smartphones of February 2023

Like every month, AnTuTu has just lifted the veil on its top 10 most powerful smartphones of the moment. The month of February saw a large number of smartphones arrive in the rankings.

The Android smartphone market has been turned upside down at the start of the year with the arrival of many new high-end models, most of which are powered by Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Unsurprisingly, these have all risen to the top of the new ranking of AnTuTu of February 2023.

At the top of the top 10, we find the Red Magic 8 Pro+, which is currently the only gaming smartphone equipped with the latest chip from Qualcomm. The device managed to reach 1,304,235 points on the benchmark, which makes it the most powerful device on the market outside of China. As a reminder, the Red Magic 8 Pro+ is a real turning point for the company, since it relies not only on performance to ensure gamers have a perfect experience, but also on design. As you can see above, its screen is one of the most immersive ever on a smartphone, thanks to very thin bezels.

In second position, we find the Vivo X90 Pro+, which unfortunately was not released in France, with its 1,280,652 points. This is an improved version of the Vivo X90 Pro that we were able to test recently, especially on the photo part. The podium is completed by the iQOO 11, also produced by Vivo.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, S23+ and S23 are then placed in 4th, 5th and 6th position. The latter benefit from a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 “For Galaxy” than other smartphones thanks to a main core clocked at 3.36 GHz, but this did not allow them to take the first place in the ranking. The Ultra model is more powerful than the classic model, thanks to improved cooling inside.

In 7e position in the ranking, we see the arrival of the OnePlus 11, that we expected a little higher thanks to its 16 RAM. The top 10 is completed by older smartphones, the ASUS ROG Phone 6D, the Xiaomi 12T Pro as well as the Redmi K50 Ultra.

In March, many new devices should complete the top of the ranking, including the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro or the Honor Magic 5 Pro. As a reminder, the latter made a lot of noise when it was launched at the MWC, since it ranked first among the DXOMARK experts in photography and for its screen. However, the latter only costs 1099 euros, much less than its main competitors.

What are the best performing mid-range smartphones?

In addition to high-end smartphones, AnTuTu also shared a top 10 most powerful mid-range models. The ranking is dominated by another smartphone from Vivo, the IQOO Neo7. The latter is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip, the most efficient in this segment. It allows it to reach 854,527 points on the benchmark, slightly less than some high-end models from 2022.

Then we find the Xiaomi 12T and the Realme GT Neo 3 with their MediaTek 8100-Ultra. Just behind the podium, there are two other Xiaomi smartphones, the Poco X4 GT and the Redmi K50i, which was not released in France. Both are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip.

Just behind, the 6e and 7e positions are occupied by OnePlus 10R 5G and Redmi Note 11T Pro. Finally, the realme GT Neo2, IQOO Neo6 and realme GT Neo 3T bring up the rear with their Snapdragon 870.
