Dramatic scenes Sunday evening in Sankt Stefan im Rosental (District Southeast Styria). A bus suddenly caught fire while driving.
At around 6:30 p.m., a bus driver was driving on the L212 when he noticed smoke developing during his empty trip (no passengers). After the bus driver drove his vehicle to the right, he was able to exit the vehicle unharmed – the bus was already on fire. The soil was then excavated by the road maintenance department. During this work, the L212 was closed to all vehicle traffic in this area from 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
