Taylor-Joy will present her new film “Furiosa: A Mad Max Story” at the prestigious event. The actress arrived in France today and already decided on an elegant outfit for the flight.
Pictures show the Golden Globe winner at the airport on Monday afternoon Cannes. She wore an off-the-shoulder gold dress and matching gold heels. With the wide-brimmed straw hat and sunglasses, she already got in the mood for the mood on the French Riviera.
“Furiosa” with Taylor-Joy celebrates its world premiere
Anya Taylor-Joy’s new film “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” will premiere at the film festival. The prequel by director George Miller (79) shows the events that happened before “Mad Max: Fury Road”. Taylor-Joy plays the lead role of 15- to 20-year-old Furiosa. In addition to her, Chris Hemsworth (40) and Tom Burke (42) can also be seen in the action film.
The 28-year-old Taylor-Joy looks back on a successful past at the Cannes International Film Festival. In 2017 she was honored with the Trophée Chopard for young actors at the event.
