The AOC Agon AG325QZN monitor features a 32-inch panel displaying a Quad HD definition of 2560 x 1440 px and supporting a refresh rate of 270 Hz. The manufacturer announces a contrast of 3000:1, viewing angles of 178°, a DisplayHDR 400 certification and therefore a maximum brightness of 400 cd / m² as well as a response time of 1 ms from gray to gray (GtG) and even 0.5 ms of persistence (Motion Picture Response Time). This is a new type of VA (Vertical Aligment) panel called Fast VA which is therefore supposed to be more reactive than the panels currently available.
The AOC AGON AG325QZN/EU monitor and its Fast VA 240 Hz panel.
Recall that we measured the persistence time of the Samsung C27G75T, the most responsive VA monitor on the market at 4.5 ms. It is also joined by IPS models (Iiyama G-Master GB2790QSU, Sony SDM-F27M30, LG 27GN750-B and Asus VG279QM) with the same time, but only TN monitors like the Alienware AW2518HF 240Hz flashed at 3ms arrive to do better in the LCD monitor market. Of course, the new QD-Oled and Oled monitors have everyone in agreement with a response time of less than 0.1 ms. It will therefore be necessary to check that the AOC AG325QZN keeps its promises in terms of responsiveness.
For the rest, we find neat ergonomics with a foot adjustable in height over 15 cm, in inclination between -5° and +23° with a pivot allowing the passage to portrait mode and the management of rotation over ±20°. It also offers a retractable helmet holder. On the connection side, it has two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, a headphone output and a hub with 4 USB 3.2 ports. This model does not have speakers or an RGB lighting system.
The AOC Agon AG325QZN/EU monitor should be available during the month of March for a price of around €580.
