In a new video, as Respawn knows how to do them so well, Apex Legends Season 15 first details have been released. This season, named Eclipsewill bring a new Legend, as always, but also a map, as the developers have been teasing for a few days.
Catalyst and an official card on Apex Legends
Respawn and Electronic Arts have released a never-before-seen video in the “Stories from the Wilderness” series with the aim of contextualizing this new season, but above all presenting Catalyst, the Legend that will be introduced in the battle royale. We then learn that Catalyst, whose real name is Tressa Smith, comes from the planet Boréas, which sees its Moon, Cleo, dying little by little. With one of her friends, she decides to try to stop Hammond Robotics to save Cleo, who would be the source of the Moon’s problems, but it goes wrong.
As we also see before and after the flashback, Catalyst knows about Rampage and explains its close connection to crystals, allowing him to master ferrofluids. Moreover, it is specified that this Legend will be rather defensive, probably by having the ability to modify the terrain.
Finally, the video also shows us Apex Legends’ fifth map, very briefly. We will have to wait a little before knowing more about this new card. New information will be shared during the end of this month of October, before the arrival of the Eclypse season, on the 1er november.
