Apex Legends, Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship, Respawn, Battle royale, DarkZero Esports
From July 7 to 10, the Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship took place, which crowned the DarkZero Esports team as world champions in the Battle Royale.
Taking place at the PNC Arena in Raleigh in the United States, the 2022 Apex Legends Global Series Championship saw clash 40 teams from all over the world. With a prize pool of $2 million split between participants, it’s ultimately Team Australia DarkZero Esports which won the competition and no less than $500,000.
Although she was not a favourite, the DarkZero team has gradually gained places advancing in the competition. First 13th in the group stages then sixth before finally reaching the final stages, DarkZero Esports demonstrated all its talent during the entire tournament.
The team took the win against FURIA Esports who turned out to be a formidable adversary. The members of the team were also rewarded since the MVP title went to HisWattson and the “Apex Predator” title went to teammate Pandxrz. The young FNATIC team managed to place 4th in the competition.
