Will Smith supported Lewis Hamilton in the Formula 1 race in Saudi Arabia. The night before, the stars were partying.
A week after the Oscar ceremony, which went on stage without him because of his slap in the face against Chris Rock (58) last year: Will Smith (54) has Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton (38) before the race in Saudi Arabia to visit paid. The disgraced Hollywood star and the British racing driver are considered good friends.
“Team Lewis, this is my man, these are my boys,” Will Smith said in a brief interview with “Sky Sports” when asked about his favourite. The actor was hoarse as he had been out late the night before – with Hamilton. “Lewis needed a distraction last night as he had a pretty difficult qualifying session.”
As early as 2018, Will Smith stopped by at a Formula 1 Grand Prix. Until shortly before the start of the race in Abu Dhabi he joked around with Lewis Hamilton. Despite the distraction, he won. The seven-time world champion finished fifth at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Will Smith was also asked if he will star in the planned film about Formula 1 with Brad Pitt (59). “I haven’t been asked yet, but I would like to,” Smith replied. “I might have to work on that belly, it doesn’t fit that well in the car,” he then joked.
“Top Gun: Maverick” director Joseph Kosinski (48) is preparing a film in which Brad Pitt is supposed to play a former racing driver. He’s coming out of retirement to train a young driver.

After a long slumber, Formula 1 has recently become extremely popular in the USA. One reason for the hype is the documentary series “Drive to Survive” from 2019, which became a surprise hit in the USA.
On the other hand, the racing circuit is investing heavily in the United States, with three grand prix taking place in the USA in the new season. The makers are increasingly inviting Hollywood stars to the races.
