Apple: Apple’s capitalization rises to more than 3 trillion dollars

(Reuters) – Apple’s market capitalization crossed the $3 trillion mark (2,749.3 billion euros) again on Friday, as investors counted on the ability of the American giant to increase its turnover while exploring new markets such as virtual reality.

Shares of the iPhone maker, the world’s most valuable company, rose 1.58% to $192.59 in early trading on Wall Street.

Since the beginning of the year, it has taken around 48%, against 15.4% for the S&P-500 index.

Tech stocks are on the rise with investor enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and the prospect of the Federal Reserve moderating its monetary tightening.

Apple had briefly reached 3 trillion in capitalization in January 2022.

Four other American companies have a valuation of over $1 trillion: Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon and Nvidia.
