Expected at the turn during this keynote, Apple presented a new model of iPhone SE. A smartphone that does not lack assets and which succeeds the model released in 2020.
Apple has just formalized the iPhone SE 2022. A mobile which is intended for the smallest budgets, but which still offers several interesting new features. This third generation of SE is indeed the first to be compatible with 5G and thus fit into the future.

In terms of design, we cannot say that it is a revolution. On the contrary ! The chassis has indeed still not changed since the iPhone 8, and still leaves room for large upper and lower borders. The device still offers a 4.7-inch Retina HD display in a very wide chassis that still leaves room for Touch ID. It displays this time an IP67 waterproof certification, which is always reassuring. Everything runs on iOS 15.
A game-changing A15 Bionic chip
Under the hood, the Cupertino company has opted for the very efficient A15 Bionic chip, which equips the current iPhone 13. The opportunity to offer a very large dose of power (and 5G) even to the very general public. It will therefore be perfectly possible to easily indulge in all the titles of the App Store. An excellent point, which risks leaving direct competition far behind.

In photos, this iPhone SE still only has one photo sensor… Where the competition offers two or three. On the other hand, we can take advantage of the contribution of the SoC, which could still change the situation on the shots. We can’t wait to analyze the differences with his grandfather.
The smartphone will be available from March 18 for €529 in France for the 64 GB version (compared to €489 for the current iPhone SE). It will also be available in 128 and 256 GB versions. Despite the presence of the A15 Fusion chip, we regret that the French price is much higher than in the United States. We imagine that operators will still be able to offer it at aggressive prices with subscriptions. Pre-orders will start on March 11.
