Apple Keynote: see you on September 7 to discover the iPhone 14

It is now official. The iPhone 14 announcement conference, led by Apple from Apple Park, will take place on September 7 at 7 p.m. iPads should also be presented there.

Truce of suspense. While speculation had been rife for a fortnight, Apple cut the rumors short and announced, a little earlier than its usual event, its next Keynote. It will therefore be for September 7 at 7 p.m., in just two weeks, and at the end of an IFA which will be held from September 2 to 6. Connoisseurs of the Apple brand will note that the conference will take place on a Wednesday, and not on a Tuesday, Apple’s favorite day; this is simply because September 6 (Labor Day) is a holiday in the United States.

There is no doubt about the program for this starry visual Keynote. It will be about iPhone 14, the brand’s new smartphones, which will undoubtedly be four in number. No iPhone Mini would be there, however, but Apple would offer an iPhone 14, an iPhone 14 Max, an iPhone 14 Pro and an iPhone 14 Pro Max, the latter two being the best off in the series.

Some new features are expected, starting with the disappearance of the notch characteristic of iPhones up to generation 13, replaced by a more discreet punch. There is also talk of a main sensor increased to 48 megapixels on the Pro and Pro Max, as well as faster charging. Of course, everything will be accompanied by iOS 16, whose interested parties have already been able to test the betas.

Other products could well make their debut during this back-to-school Keynote. If Apple has already confirmed that iPadOS 16 – or rather iPadOS 16.1 – would be postponed to October, nothing prevents the formalization of new iPads equipped with this operating system. There is thus talk of an iPad 10 and a 12.9 “iPad Pro with an M2 chip, like the latest MacBooks.
