Announced last June, theApple Vision Pro reveals the visionOS version of one of the most famous instant messaging applications: Telegram.

In the United States, Apple’s mixed reality headset will invade the new technology market early next year. Marketed from $3,499 (the prices in euros are still unknown to this day), the device intends to make a place for itself in an increasingly crowded sector.

If the stakes are high, the Cupertino company will obviously be able to count on a large number of applications planned for launch, in order to attract the greatest number of people. And, today, we’re getting our very first look at Telegram on visionOS.

Vision Pro: discover the first images of Telegram on the Apple headset

As shared with us by the site Mac Rumors, the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, presented this Tuesday a first preview of his application on the mixed reality headset of the Apple brand. As a reminder, during its keynote during WWDC23, Apple had already revealed to us a brief overview of Word and Excel on its headset.

As with the few other visionOS applications that we have already been able to discover to date, Telegram has a translucent design that subtly blends into the area around it. This will give an impression of depth when users access the Telegram application from the Apple Vision Pro.

While the teaser, approximately 40 seconds long, was originally posted on Telegram, content creator Ben Genskin re-shared it on his X.com account (formerly known as Twitter).

A redesigned interface, but similar features

Regarding the Telegram interface under visionOS, we can immediately see that the application will not have a traditional tab bar, but rather a sidebar offering quick access to contacts, calls, conversations and messages. settings.

The video extract also allows us to notice that the visionOS version of Telegram will benefit from an immersive video player, and that it will offer users the possibility of sending animated and dynamic emojis (the latter being able to come out of the window of the application).
