A famous leaker got their hands on the hulls of the next connected watches from Apple and gives us a nice look at the Apple Watch Pro.

We’ve known it for several months already: the Apple Watch Pro will be a much larger connected watch than its little sisters.

For this particular and unique model in the range, Apple would have been keen to push the limits of the Apple Watch with a new format and a larger screen size, as well as a reinforced and more shock-resistant case.

Sonny Dickson, famous leaker well known to technology enthusiasts, was able to get their hands on the shells provided by the props designers to dress and protect the next connected watches presented this Wednesday, September 7 by Apple.

A much bigger watch and some adjustments to the buttons

Presented side by side of the shells of the Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 8 of 45 and 41 mm, the Apple Watch Pro is much more imposing. With a diagonal of 49mm, this watch would definitely not suit smaller wrists, but should appeal to chunky watch aficionados. The Apple Watch Pro is announced as a divisive watch, which is intended exclusively for athletes. The general public should be encouraged to turn more to the more discreet Apple Watch Series 8, even if its screen has grown slightly in the last year.

The additional button on the left edge, which appeared on CAD files a few hours ago, is present on these hulls. As we told you earlier, this new button would allow athletes to create a personalized shortcut to access a feature or application directly, without going through the touch interface or Siri.

We can also notice a recess at the level of the digital crown and the side button. This new protection would prevent unwanted pressing of these keys during exercise, which can happen regularly inadvertently during training.

To know everything about the Apple Watch Pro, we give you an appointment on Clubic this Wednesday, September 7 from 7 p.m. to follow the Apple Keynote together and live.
