Apple would prepare 3 new Macs soon

Three Mac models have apparently been spotted in the Eurasian Economic Commission database.

According to the very well informed Mark Gurman, journalist at Bloomberg, Apple would plan a press conference on March 8 to unveil a new iPhone SE, but also an iPad Air. But that’s not all, the Californian brand could take advantage of this window of opportunity to also unveil a renewal of its PC range.

Three registered Macs

According to Consomac, Apple has registered with the Eurasian Economic Commission three new Mac models. Numbered A2615, A2686 and A2681, they would all run on macOS 12 Monterey. However, it would seem that only the last of the three is indicated as a laptop, a clarification that is not added to the other two references.

For now, what is behind these three code names is still unclear. On the laptop side, we expect a renewal of the 13″ MacBook Pro with a new M2 chip (less powerful in terms of graphics than the M1 Pro and M1 Max), but also a new MacBook Air (also M2) d here this summer.

For fixed PCs, rumors rather evoke a Mac mini in 2022, either with an M2 chip, or with an M1 Pro or M1 Max chip, but the arrival of an iMac Pro with these same overpowered chips is also expected from a few months here.

It is difficult to say, however, if the registration of these three references with an official body announces a presentation from the beginning of March. Apple has now become accustomed to distilling its new products throughout the year, with a lot of bombastic conferences on the one hand and press releases which are no less discreet on the other.

Furthermore, if the keynote March seems to be getting closer, WWDC in June is still a possible launch space for new computers from the Apple brand.
