The “Krone” animal corner sanctuary in Vienna houses cats that are often too old or sick to be adopted. They have all found a true home here with everything that goes with it. We are now looking for reinforcements in the nursing team!
Around 65 velvet paws are kept as a large group in our facility on the outskirts of Vienna. There are plenty of places to hide, toys and also secured outdoor areas to doze comfortably in the sun. Of course, plenty of cuddling is not neglected, every animal has a good place for life here. Employment and careBut of course so many animals also need to be looked after professionally; hygiene and medical aspects are particularly important. There is currently a full-time position as an animal keeper available and should be filled soon. Occupying and caring for the cats (cuddling, playing, brushing, etc.) Distributing food and cleaning Administering medication according to our vet’s instructions Cleaning the cat and general cleaning activities, disinfection, etc. What should you bring with you? Our cat house is located on the northern outskirts of the city, and having your own car (parking space available) is a great advantage. You have to look after the animals every other week, including on weekends.
