Energy prices continue to rise, slowly but surely eating away at the original subsidy. That is why the state of Carinthia has now taken action and is offering an additional energy bonus of 50 euros.
“As of today, you can apply for the significantly increased heating subsidy,” confirms social affairs officer Beate Prettner. “We have also raised the income limits further.” The new bonus means an increase of 45 percent for the small subsidy and still 28 percent for the large one. Single people can apply for the large or small subsidy from 1100 and 1240 euros net per month. For married couples and life partnerships, the limits are 1560 and 1700 euros net. The application period runs from today until April 28, 2023 and the energy bonus will be paid out automatically with the approval of the heating cost subsidy.
