The next installment in The Fast and the Furious series will hit theaters in May 2023. And the future of the PS franchise has received particularly prominent reinforcements today: none other than “Aquaman” Jason Momoa will be in “Fast & Furious 10” depress the gas pedal. This is reported by the extremely reliable industry magazine Deadline.
Jason Momoa Joins a Long Line of Stars on Fast & Furious
Jason Momoa is of course known to DC fans as Aquaman, but last year the giant was also seen in the sci-fi hit Dune and in the series See on the Apple TV+ streaming service. And of course, the basically likeable and super cool muscle mountain became really well known in the epic fantasy series “Game of Thrones”.
An absolutely prominent newcomer for “Fast & Furious 10”, but such illustrious actors as Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Helen Mirren, John Cena and Gal Gadot have already appeared in the long history of the franchise. So Jason Momoa is in good company.
In addition to Momoa and franchise star Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Sung Kang and Charlize Theron are also expected to be part of “Fast & Furious 10”. As with “Fast & Furious 9”, which grossed more than 720 million US dollars worldwide (!), Justin Lin will take the director’s chair.
