Talk show host Arabella Kiesbauer had a skiing accident in 2023, and now the presenter had to go under the knife again because of it.
Arabella Kiesbauer (54) reported from the hospital after another operation – with good news. On She wrote on Instagram about a picture that shows her in the hospital bed with food in her hand: “Today the color has returned to my face. And when I like the food again, then things will look up! You can tell I’m in the mood to joke again .” The TV presenter also thanked her fans and followers for their many well wishes: “Your energy has given me a lot of strength.”
The crutches are already ready
The 54-year-old had previously explained in another Instagram post that she was still a little pale, but the operation went well. After her skiing accident last year, Arabella Kiesbauer had to go back to the hospital “so that all the metal could be removed from her shinbone,” as she also revealed on Instagram. “At least 12 screws and a plate! The crutches are already ready, I’ll need them again later. I’m dreading that. But it doesn’t help.”
In February last year, Arabella Kiesbauer had a skiing accident on a slope in Kitzbühel, Austria, and at that time she had to undergo surgery because of a fractured tibia. “Nothing can knock down sunshine – not even a complicated fracture,” she explained at the time.
Arabella Kiesbauer became a TV star in the 1990s
Arabella Kiesbauer was an integral part of the German television landscape in the 1990s: she hosted her afternoon talk show “Arabella” on ProSieben from 1994 to 2004. She celebrated further successes, among other things, as a presenter of the ORF casting show “Starmania” or the Austrian version of “Bauer sucht Frau” and “The Masked Singer Austria” as well as a presenter of the “Eurovision Song Contest”.
