Aramco oil site attacked in Jeddah

DUBAI, March 25 (Reuters) – A storage site of Saudi oil company Saudi Aramco in Jeddah, western Saudi Arabia, was hit by an attack on Friday, a source told Reuters.

A large column of smoke rose above the Red Sea port.

A spokesman for the Houthis, an armed movement in Yemen close to Iran, reported a series of attacks using drones and missiles against Aramco facilities in Jeddah and other targets in Saudi territory. (Maha El Dahan report, French version Bertrand Boucey, edited by Jean-Stéphane Brosse)
