The least we can say is that the Intel Arc A750 and A770 graphics cards are lacking. While they were originally expected before the end of the summer, their release window has remained a closely guarded Intel secret, due to supply issues.
Instead of a formal announcement, the Intel boss shared a tweet with the flagship model in his hands. He also takes the opportunity to ensure that a first shipment of this new series is in preparation… without giving a precise date.
After GeForce Beyond being held this afternoon, however, expect a conference of the same ilk from Intel during the “Innovation” event scheduled for September 27. In addition to the presentation of the Arc A750 and A770 models, we will also be entitled to that of the Core Raptor Lake 13 processorse generation.
What to expect from the Intel Arc A750 and A770?
While waiting for a release date, we have a fairly complete idea of what Intel’s high-end graphics cards will have in their stomachs. The Arc A750 will sport 28 Xe-Cores, 3,584 FP32 cores, 8 GB of GDDR6 RAM and a 225 W TBP. 32 Xe-Cores, 4,096 FP32 cores and a 225W TBP.
Tests carried out specifically on the Intel Arc A770 indicate that it is capable of reaching 2.7 GHz with the minimum voltage optimization. It would turn at 228 W, i.e. only 3 W above the TBP, with temperatures however approaching 80° on Hitman 3, without altering the speed of the fans. More advanced settings could therefore make it possible to run for 3 GHz, probably at more reasonable temperatures.
As for MSRP prices, even if nothing is official, it is estimated that the Intel Arc A750 could be displayed between 300 and 350 euros excluding taxes. The Intel Arc A770 equipped with 8 GB of RAM would go to a range between 350 and 400 euros, still excluding tax, and the 16 GB model would peak between 400 and 450 euros.
But to be sure, we will have to wait for Intel’s Innovation event being held next week to the day.
