The studio, founded by the former EA employee, who notably worked on Battlefield V, announced the news via a message on its social networks. We can read that ” ARC Raiders is an ambitious game, and we will use this extra time to improve the experience and reach its full potential. “. Initially planned for this year 2022the cooperative shooter will finally be available in 2023without further details on the launch window.

Embark Studios says, however, that we will learn more about ARC Raiders in the coming weeks and months, and that a test open to more people will also be organized.
As a reminder, ARC Raiders is a cooperative third-person shooterin which we play humans, having to fight robotic forces (drones, giant robots, etc.) coming straight from space in a world that seems to have been ravaged by a devastating evil, probably these machines. The main mode will be similar to a Horde mode, surviving various waves of opponents. To face these enemies, you will also have to loot those you have already killed, but also explore the ruins, with the aim of collecting gadgets and additional equipment to become increasingly powerful.
ARC Raiders will therefore arrive in 2023, in free-to-play, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
