Known for its Arc browser, The Browser Company has decided to reinvent mobile web browsing with a new application: Arc Search. Only available on iOS for the moment, it allows you to obtain an ultra-complete search result thanks to artificial intelligence.
To put it simply, Arc Search offers a minimalist interface based on a simple search bar and an area grouping all the tabs. As soon as a request is made, it is possible to choose between Google’s response and that of the AI using the Browse for me button. By clicking, the application analyzes different websites in order to deliver a complete response including several key points in the form of a web page.
As an example, Josh Miller, CEO of The Browser Company, shows through a gif Arc Search’s response when asked how to make cranberry pie. After analyzing six web pages, the browser displays a single page including the following information: an image; a title ; Ingredients ; the preparation stages; the top web results; a video source; and the quantity of ingredients needed to make the recipe.
Arc Search therefore aims to facilitate user searches by building websites that respond clearly and simply to their various queries. In addition to this, the browser offers an ad and banner blocker for uncluttered Internet browsing, as well as a reading mode.
